AN INTERNATIONAL EFFORT
Working with Lions around the world, we are striving to eliminate preventable blindness. The Lions Clubs International Foundation support projects on every continent, ranging from providing cataract surgeries in China to meeting the basic needs of earthquakes and flood victims wherever disasters occur. Lions around the world have donated more then $3 millions to help the victims of Sept. 11. With the Carter Center, Lions Clubs International is making a concerted attack on trachoma and river blindness, two of the world's most dreadful sight-robbing diseases.

About The Duathlon
Glens Falls Lions Club started the Duathlon three years ago to increase the ability to give back to our community with sight and hearing. We have many sports enthusiasts within the club who not only volunteer but join the other racers on the course. It is a 5K Run, 30K Bike, 5K Run course through the beautiful countrysides around the Suny ADK campus.
